As we embark on the 19th year of Rites of Spring, our board of directors are hard at work to make this slate of events the best ever. This year, our focus is to return to the true purpose of Rites of Spring: to help those living with HIV/AIDS.  As always, our efforts will benefit Birmingham AIDS Outreach and the UAB 1917 Clinic.  With budget cuts and funding shortfalls, these organizations now need our assistance more than ever.

This year's theme is "A Season of Senses," each soiree exploring one of the five senses-sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.  The Season will culminate with the 19th Annual Main Event, "Explore Your Senses," at the Historic Sloss Furnaces on April 17, 2010.

On behalf of the Rites of Spring Board, I am personally inviting you to be a part of this year's events.  The Board is more diverse, energized and excited about the things we are doing than ever.  We really hope this carries over to those who help support the cause, and we'd like you to be a part of it all!
